In the summer I went to London to look at the Erwin Blumenfeld exhibition at Somerset House. The exhibition stunned me. So many great photogrphs, Harper's Bazaar editor in chief Carmel Snow called Blumenfeld a Godsend; and its easy to see why! All the photos in the exhibition were originally black and white but were digitally reconstructed into colour images, the photos have been transformed amazingly into pastel delights that work so well in Somerset House.
